Dances with Cats

If you have seen my website, and know something of the kind of quilts I usually do, you may notice that this is something of a departure for me.   The colors are brighter and the forms simplified.  But trying something different is what the Abstract Challenge is all about, I think.

In this small piece I tried to be more graphic and use higher contrast colors than I normally do, plus, I tried a very different color palette from my usual cool, muted colors.  It was fun!  But I think maybe I should have added some hair to my dancing lady.
